The Holiday Heroes™ Project is a movement to address the growing needs of hunger, income loss, and isolationism exacerbated by the current pandemic state, record job loss, and seasonal depression.
Lots of people right here in our community are struggling to ensure they have enough food on the table, or any semblance of a holiday at all this year. Our team wanted to jump in and make a difference in our market. As real estate professionals, we know the power of neighbors helping neighbors and communities coming together and we’re proud that we can offer this kind of hope to our most vulnerable community members. We are hosting a food drive to support the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. They will in turn distribute to the food pantries in need, in the towns of Galway, Ballston Spa, Saratoga Springs, Stillwater and beyond.
If you’d like to participate and support all of the local food banks, you can drop off non-perishable food anytime at The Sterling Real Estate Group office at 1487 Saratoga Rd (Rt.50), Ballston Spa. We are directly across from Mangino GMC/Buick. The Regional Food Bank has the greatest need for canned items such as soups, stews, vegetables and fruits. They prefer non glass packaged items.
